Email for Students
All student email services at Rutgers University are handled exclusively by ScarletMail.
Note: the integrated web mail client in the myRutgers portal has separate preference and address book storage from those in the ScarletMail service, even though the portal can access the remote mailbox.

Email for Faculty and Staff
As of June 30, 2016 all email services for current Camden faculty and staff have been migrated to Rutgers Connect. Rutgers Connect is a central email, calendar, and cloud service system that is consolidating all university email systems for faculty and staff at Rutgers. Retiree email has migrated to ScarletMail. Logins to Rutgers Connect require you to enter your NetID with your mail domain, in the form email@example.com. If you attempt to log in to Rutgers Connect and receive an error message about your account being blocked, this most likely means that you have not changed your password since before January 2016. Please visit https://netid.rutgers.edu, and select “Manage NetID Password” from the menu along the left side of that page, in order to change your password. Rutgers Connect should synchronize your new password approximately 30 minutes after you change it.
