Citrix GoToMeeting for Students

Students are now eligible for a free Citrix GoToMeeting license for up to 5 attendees. Licenses can be obtained through the Rutgers University Software Portal at A NetID login, along with a valid student role, is required for access to the license.

DDoS Attack Targets Rutgers

OIT became aware of a Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack that began around 10 pm on November 19, 2014, which affected various Rutgers services. Services were restored as of 9 am on November 20, 2014. OIT staff are continuing to monitor the situation. Status updates will be posted to when available.

Network Service Degradation

Between 10 pm on November 19, 2014, and 4 am on November 20, 2014, the Rutgers University network experienced a service degradation that affected access to numerous systems. As of 10 am on November 20, 2014, all affected systems should be functioning normally again.
