The Rutgers Student Computer Lab is RU-Camden Information Technology’s primary lab, but the department also supports other facilities and equipment, most notably computer and print stations in various locations, the enhanced classrooms and the exam scanner. Other support includes:

Computer Classrooms & Labs

The department manages the equipment in three computer classrooms but does not manage reservations for these locations. Each of these classrooms is equipped with a printer/release station. They are:

  • Armitage Hall 101
  • Business & Science 134
  • North Conference Room, Campus Center

When there are no classes or events taking place in these rooms, they are available as open labs for student use. These rooms must be scheduled through the Rutgers-Camden Registrar: Armitage Hall, 311 N. Fifth Street, Camden, NJ 08102-1405, (856) 225-6053.

Computer & Print Stations

The campus has a number of locations where express computers or print stations are available to people who don’t have time to go to a computer lab. Locations and other details may be found on the Computer & Print stations page.

Enhanced Classrooms

The department’s staff maintains and supports equipment in the many enhanced classrooms across the Camden campus. For details, including a list of the classrooms and the equipment they include, visit the Enhanced Classrooms page.

Exam Scanner

The Rutgers Student Computer Lab has an exam scanner for grading Scantron forms. Faculty may reserve the exam scanner. Reservation information, training and guides are available on this site.

Poster Printing

RU-Camden IT will print posters for a small charge. Posters require a minimum of one business day. Instructions for requesting printing, as well as templates for popular sizes, are available on the Poster Printing page.

RUCams Automated Course Recording

The RUCams service for faculty and staff is an online tool to schedule recording of academic classes at Rutgers-Camden. To schedule recording, use your NetID and password to log into the service. Its scheduling wizard will prompt through the process.

Access to recording tools are based on the same permissions granting access to course rosters in the REGIS rosters and grade submission system. If you are unable to select your course, ask your department administrator to review your access to your rosters.

Video Conferencing

Rooms equipped for video conferencing must be reserved through the Events Office. Be sure to clearly indicate your need for video conferencing when making your reservation.

Visit the Events Office web site to learn more about event planning on campus. They can also be reached by phone at (856) 225-6162 or by email at
