Multiple IT services will be unavailable during emergency repairs to the Hill Center’s electrical infrastructure from 5 am-10 pm Saturday, January 27.

During this time, email may be delayed. Rutgers Connect and ScarletMail should be largely available during the day, but users may experience intermittent outages. The rutgers.edu site and some other university websites may experience intermittent outages, but sites hosted in Camden should not be affected.

Services that will be unavailable include:

  • Sakai
  • Mailman email lists
  • The RAMS mass email service

This work is necessary to repair damage to the electrical distribution system from last week’s outage at the Hill Center data center, which is located on Rutgers University–New Brunswick’s Busch Campus.
